Michael F. Minchella
Mr. Minchella is a senior partner of Monteleone & McCrory, LLP having joined the firm in 1974. He has specialized in matters that involve design, construction and contract administration of major infrastructure and building projects for over 30 years.
Mr. Minchella has represented clients in federal and state courts utilizing his experience in complex litigation before juries, administrative tribunals, arbitrators, and referees that involved construction claims, contract awards, contract disputes, construction defects, surety liability, liens, false claims, and professional negligence. Included in his trial history are cases involving the construction of major highways, schools, hospitals, office buildings and pipeline facilities.
Mr. Minchella represents owners, design professionals, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. With a primary reputation in the industry as a forceful advocate, Mr. Minchella also negotiates and prepares contracts, including agreements for design, construction, partnerships, and joint ventures, on behalf of clients in private residential, industrial and commercial projects.
Mr. Minchella also serves as a mediator and arbitrator, and is a published writer and featured speaker in industry forums regarding his expertise in the field of complex litigation. Mr. Minchella has been honored as an industry leader in “Chambers USA, America’s Leading Lawyers for Business”, and has attained an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. Mr. Minchella has again been selected as one of Southern California’s “Super Lawyers” for 2009.
As an aggressive advocate, Mr. Minchella guides his clients with his extensive business and trial litigation experience while maintaining a practical perspective in the client's best interest. He also serves as a complex litigation consultant amongst his peers.
